Crew & Safety

Tree work is among the most hazardous trades, so Canvo helps you organize your team and keep safety front and center on every job.

Adding team members

Go to Settings → Team → Invite to add office staff and crew. Each person gets their own login. Assign a role so people only see what they need:

Owner / Admin — full access, including billing
Office — customers, scheduling, estimates, invoices
Crew — their assigned jobs and schedule

Building crews

Group team members into crews (for example “Crew A — Removals”, “Crew B — Pruning”). When you schedule a job, assign it to a crew and everyone on it sees the work on their schedule.

Certifications and qualifications

Track each crew member’s qualifications — ISA Certified Arborist, CTSP, aerial lift, chainsaw, CDL — so you can staff jobs with the right people and stay ahead of renewals.

Job-site safety

Each job carries the property’s access and hazard notes so crews arrive prepared — power lines, structures, pets, soft ground, tight access. Capture these on the property record (see Customers & Properties) and they appear on every job at that site.

Field updates

Crews update job status from their phone — In Progress when they start, Completed when they finish. The office sees it live, so dispatch and invoicing stay in sync without phone tag.
