Jobs & Scheduling
Jobs are the heart of Canvo. A job represents work to be done at a property — from a single pruning visit to a multi-day removal — and lives on your shared calendar.
Creating a job
Section titled “Creating a job”You can create a job two ways:
- From an approved estimate — convert it in one click and the line items, property, and customer carry over automatically.
- Directly — from Jobs → New Job, pick the customer and property, then add the work details.
Scheduling on the calendar
Section titled “Scheduling on the calendar”Open Scheduling to see the calendar in day, week, or month view. Drag a job onto a date and time to schedule it. Multi-day jobs span across the calendar so you can plan around weather and equipment.
Assigning a crew
Section titled “Assigning a crew”When you schedule a job, assign a crew to it. Crew members see their assigned jobs on their own schedule, including the property address, access notes, and the scope of work. See Crew & Safety to set up crews.
Job status
Section titled “Job status”Each job moves through a clear status flow:
- Scheduled — on the calendar, not yet started
- In Progress — crew has started work
- Completed — work is done and ready to invoice
Crews can update status from their phone in the field, so the office always knows what’s happening.
Rescheduling
Section titled “Rescheduling”Plans change — drag a job to a new slot to reschedule, or open it to adjust the time. The assigned crew sees the update immediately.
From job to invoice
Section titled “From job to invoice”When a job is marked Completed, generate an invoice from it in one click. See Estimates & Invoices.
